Students aged 13-16
GCSE in Jewish Studies is offered to all post bar mitzvah studients. This is a two-year study course, with weekly sessions on a Wednesday evening.
After graduating as a bar/bat mitzvah, our young people can continue learning and socialising together at Westminster Synagogue. Together with our youth educator, our young people create a social programme in which we also connect them to other central London communities. Recently, together with the Belsize Square Community and Habonim Youth Movement, our young people collected hundreds of pounds for teenage cancer.
We also offer a mitzvah to young people on the anniversary of their Torah portion and invite them to participate in Festival Services at High Holydays and at Simchat Torah.
