We have teamed up with five other London Synagogues to learn about
Chanukah this year. The theme is ‘Athens and Jerusalem: between the
particular and universal’ and each night we will hear from someone new. Make
sure you tune in on the 10th and 12th December as Yael Roberts and
Rabbi Benji lead the learning – we’d love to see as many WS Members there
as possible!

On Saturday 12th December, at 8:30pm, Rabbi Benji will be exploring Mizmor Shir Chanukat Habayit Le’David: How to get out of the Pit with the Psalm for Chanukah?

Psalm 30 is the one psalm associated by its title with Chanukah. We will look closely at this Psalm and the dramatic Biblical moments that it invokes and subverts to consider how to rise up amidst the darkness.

The learning starts at 8:30pm, but you can join at the earlier time of 8:15pm for
