Join us in preparation for high holidays for a full day of study and learning on the theme of Tefillah, prayer on Sunday 3rd September. The sessions will include practical approaches to prayer, philosophical ideas around prayer, and an understanding of what prayer looks like here at WS. We will be learning about developing our own personal prayer practices, the power of prayer, and how we move back and forth from Torah (study) to Tefillah (prayer) in our community. This day will help us prepare for our high holidays services and touch on themes for this time of year.

11:30-11:45: Break 
11:45-13:00: How to make the psalms steppingstones towards the Divine and the world we inhabit with Rabbi Markus 
13:00-13:45: Lunch
13:45-15:00: Changing the words on the page versus Changing your heart: An exploration of possible meaning and liturgical changes in the first bracha of the Amidah with Rabbi Benji or Building blocks of prayer: Shaping a daily practice with Yael - required for OC
15:00-15:15: Break
15:15-15:45: Mincha 
15:45-17:00: A Spiritual Approach to HHD Prayer with Yael 

This is a paid event, which includes lunch and breaks. However we would never want to exclude anyone due to financial grounds. Please contact Yael, in confidence, if you have any concerns.
