We are excited to welcome Natalie Zacek as our Virutal Voice on Wednesday 9th September, at 1:00pm, when she will share a talk with us on The Jewish Landscape of Nevis, West Indies, followed by a Q&A. 

Natalie is a Senior Lecturer in American Studies at the University of Manchester, where she's taught since 2000. Her first book, Settler Society in the English Leeward Islands, 1670-1776 (Cambridge University Press, 2010), won the Royal Historical Society's Gladstone Prize. She has published widely on the history of the English Caribbean, including the Jewish communities thereof, and is currently completing a book on the cultural history of horse racing in the 19th-century United States.
