Dana joined Or Shabbat as a pupil in 1999 and in 2009, after 4 sunny years in Israel with her family, she returned to London, and Or Shabbat as an Assistant Teacher. It was in these years that Dana was honoured with performing the role of Queen Esther in our Purim Spiel and proudly celebrated her younger sister’s Bat Mitzvah with the guidance of Rabbi Thomas. Today, Dana is the new Members Coordinator and has shown great excitement in joining Westminster Synagogue behind the scenes.
Ecological thinking plays a strong part in Dana’s life. She has dedicated a BA from University of Melbourne and an MA from Tel Aviv University alongside many years of volunteering before joining the faculty of the School of Sustainability at Reichmann University (previously IDC). Harmonious ecosystems are therefore at the heart of all her activities and engagements, making Dana a very warm and welcoming figure. With a background in both the Arts and Sciences, Dana is looking forward to contributing to the strengthening of connections within the community.
Dana works part time Tuesday-Fridays.
