At Westminster Synagogue, our members turning 11 embark on an exciting two year journey.
They will deepen their Jewish knowledge and identity, connect personally with what it means to be a Jewish adult, and build new friendships as they grow together to become "Bar/Bat Mitzvah".

At age 13, the children of our community and their family celebrate the lifecycle event that is the
Bar/Bat Mitzvah; they become an adult in the eyes of the community.

The B'nei Mitzvah program was created to support and empower our young members in their
transition between childhood and adulthood.

Our B'nei Mitzvah program reflects us as a community and is built around the values of inclusivity,
social justice, Torah learning and loving kindness.
