Book Club

7:00 PM - 8:00 PMLibrary

Member Charlie Rubin has started a new book club within our community. Over the next year we will be reading and discussing Jewish related books that touch on relevant themes be it through authorship, Jewish life, history and connections to Israel.

Our third book is: A Long Night In Paris by Dov Alfon

We look forward to seeing you on the 28th May!

Dov Alfon crafts a gripping espionage thriller set over a single, frantic night. When an Israeli tech executive mysteriously vanishes at Charles de Gaulle Airport, we are drawn into a complex web of cyber warfare, surveillance, and political intrigue. Blending wit, action, and insider knowledge of intelligence operations, Alfon delivers a smart, cinematic page-turner with a distinct Israeli edge.

Adding a film discussion this time as well: We would like to trial including an Israeli/Jewish Film to watch and discuss too. The film is Big Bad Wolves. This film was critically acclaimed by Quentin Tarantino. It is available on Amazon Prime for £1.99.
