Every second Sunday of each month, The Liberal Jewish Synagogue in St. John’s Wood welcomes asylum seekers —parents and children who have applied for, but not yet received, refugee status in the UK - into their Shul for a chance to socialise, and to get a hot meal, toiletries, a small amount of cash to supplement the little they receive from the government.
