"Do You Believe in Me?" An Evening with Tally Koren
Thursday, 18 May, 2023 • 27 Iyar 5783
7:00 PM - 10:00 PMJoin us for an inspiring event launching Tally Koren’s forthcoming album, Do You Believe in Me? in tandem with Mental Health Awareness Week
The event will include songs with transformative lyrics as well as exploration by experts on: 'How to give ourselves ways to see the light in the darkness?', 'Can we spot burnout before we reach it?' and 'What is the effect of music and creativity on Mental Health?'.
Like most great songs, member Tally Koren wrote the title track for her hugely anticipated 3rd album Do You Believe in Me? 23 years ago, after hitting rock bottom.
“The mental noise was overwhelming so I went to the park at night, I was afraid as it was dark, but I didn’t care as I was so low, the words, do you believe in me as I believe in you just came out of despair"
On the night, Tally will share her personal journey exploring the constant cycle we go through in life, from winning to losing, ups and downs when hope is the magic thread that keeps us moving.
Then, join us afterwards for a bite to eat, to raise a glass and connect with members of our community.
If you have any questions about the event, please get in touch.
Tally Koren holds an impressive catalogue of live performances, including the Royal Albert Hall, The National Arboretum, Belgrade Theatre, The House of Lords, MK Dons Stadium and hosting a concert called ‘Music for Peace in the Middle East', where Palestinians and Israelis performed on the same stage.
