Erev Sukkot Service and Remembering Oct 7th

Monday, 6 October, 2025 14 Tishrei 5786

6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

The joy of Sukkot and Simchat Torah will always now be marred with the horrific attacks two years ago.

This year the Gregorian anniversary date falls on Sukkot, and we will be Remembering October 7th during our Erev Sukkot Service, on Monday 6th October, at 6:30pm. Before and after the service, there will be a chance for personal remembering and reflection in the library, if you feel that the Sukkah is too crowded. The Library will be our area with stories of the hostages, and will include the screening of the short film Mesiba by Tom Applebaum.

We feel it is important for us to come together as a community to honour the lives lost on that day and the days since, to pray for the safe release of the hostages still in captivity, to pray for peace and to be there for one another during this difficult time.

If you would like to join us earlier, members are invited to decorate the Sukkah from 4pm, click here for more information.

You may also want to join the community for the London-wide commemorative event on Sunday 5th October.

Sorry, Registration has ended.
