Welcome to the Next Dor page!

Westminster Next Dor, formerly known as Westminster Young Professionals, has been running since Spring 2015. The group aims to provide a social space and events for Jewish Young Professionals to come together, enjoy each other’s company, share excellent food, learn, network and make new friends in Central London.

We are delighted that our group is continuously growing and welcoming people into the Synagogue for a range of Jewish events which are always receiving positive feedback.

Westminster Next Dor, was rebranded and revitalised in 2021, holding events both in and out of Kent House.  "Dor" means "Generation" in Hebrew, and we are excited to create a space for our generation to connect both in Kent House (Westminster) and throughout London (next door!).

Our Roots:

Westminster Young Professionals launched with ‘An Evening with Mark Ronson’ in May 2015, and has since held a range of other events including a 'Yoga and Healthy Living' evening, a panel discussion on 'Surrogacy: Laws, Ethics and Judaism', a Vegan Cooking Class an ‘In Conversation with Josh Berger', the Head of Warner Brothers Europe, and many themed Friday night Shabbat meals including Japanese, French, Russian, Hungarian, Masquerade and a "Fest" themed dinner.

We have also held a series of Speed Mentoring events focusing on both Business and Creative industries. The concept is similar to speed dating, where mentors - each well established in their field - take time to meet and connect with Jewish Young Professionals.
