We are commanded to love the stranger 36 times in the Torah. For many, reaching out to put a stranger at ease may be uncomfortable, challenging or inconvenient. Yet every week, the wonderful Welcome Team members do just that - we put strangers (and so many members) at ease.

We'd like to invite you to a simple but convivial lunch following a Shabbat service. You all perform such a valuable role and we'd like to say a heartfelt thank you for the time, warmth, and energy you’ve given to our community , share stories and take some time to make new connections and share any feedback. 

We're excited to hold the lunch on Saturday 6th September at 12:45pm, so do book in below by Monday 1st September if you can join us.

It’s also a moment to shine a light on the Welcome Team as a whole — to build awareness around what we do, why it matters, and how others can get involved.

Once again thank you for spending time to make members, friends and first time visitors feel so welcome when they come through the door. Whether you've volunteered for many years, have just started or are still arranging your first slot - your efforts do not go unnoticed.
