Dr Sasha Usiskin is one of the leading breast radiologists in the UK, with nearly 20 years of experience as a Consultant Breast Radiologist at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, the oldest hospital in London, which proudly supports one of the largest and busiest breast units in London. She is Clinical Lead at King Edward VII Hospital, overseeing a large multidisciplinary group of specialists covering all aspects of breast cancer care. She has established and manages a successful private practice, with many longstanding patients and a prestigious and loyal clientele.
Outside of work, she is mother to three teenage children and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, long walks and is passionate about the arts.
Professor Michael Douek is an experienced breast cancer surgeon and President of the British Association of Surgical Oncology (BASO), the association for all cancer surgeons. He is the Rosetrees Royal College of Surgeons of England Academic Director of the Surgical Interventional Trials Unit (SITU), within the Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences at the University of Oxford, Professor of Surgical Sciences & Breast Cancer and Honorary Consultant Surgeon at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He is also Visiting Professor of Surgical Oncology at King’s College London and Visiting Professor of Surgery at the University of Hong Kong.
He is an internationally renowned oncoplastic breast surgeon and his research focuses on developing and evaluating novel techniques for cancer surgery, including a novel magnetic technique for sentinel node biopsy and lesion localization, which he developed. In 2015, he was awarded a prestigious Hunterian Professorship by the Royal College of Surgeons of England and in 2019 he was appointed as one of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Research Professors.
