Have you long been wanting to learn to read Hebrew? You may occasionally make unnecessary apologies for it and would like to participate more in the occasional service, or perhaps you would like to be learning some hebrew given that your child is doing this with us. Or perhaps you did once get your Hebrew down but fear it is currently in a state of disrepair so you would like to bring it back and gain some confidence with it? Or, finally perhaps, you have some confidence with Hebrew but you would really like to learn to chant from the Torah, gaining a core, life-long skill, and then chanting a few verses every now and then with our community (And you don’t need to sing well!).

If you want to do any of these, then join us for Westminster Synagogue’s Skills Lab. This is a manageable commitment. Three hour long sessions on Tuesdays 3rd, 10th and 17th November at 7:30pm. Ideally you can come to all three - at worst two of them. With strong teachers we will make sure you get exactly the injection, or crash-course that you need. No matter your level of Hebrew, you are welcome. Join us to build your skills and confidence together in these short and inspiring sessions. Upon “graduating” the sessions, you’ll be prepared to get more involved in the service, or just to read more actively from your seat!
