Would you like to feel more confident in Shabbat Services – perhaps even learning how to lead various parts? Then you’re in luck as our Second Warden, Joe Crossley, and Cantorial Singer, Yoav Oved, are leading two special sessions to give you the tools to lead aspects of our Shabbat Morning Service. We’ll be looking at specific tunes from our service to boost singing confidence, as well as going through the service making clear notes of what’s read together, led from the front, when to sit/stand and general overview of the service. Ideally you will join us for both sessions, however if you would only be able to do one, you are still welcome to sign up.
The evenings will be held from Kent House from 6:30-8:30pm – with dinner included – on Tuesday 23rd and Tuesday 30th August. After these sessions, we’ll be inviting participants to use the skills they’ve learnt and share leading a Shabbat Service in the following months and celebrate their development together!
