Interconnectivity: Private View Evening

Thursday, 13 October, 2022 18 Tishrei 5783

6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

'An Allegorical Explanation of Jonah’ by Yaïr Meshoulam ‘In The Beginning Was A Spark’ by Michèle Jaffé-Pearce

Interconnectivity brings together paintings by Michèle Jaffé-Pearce and Yaïr Meshoulam who work on similar themes but in very different styles and were painted over twenty years apart. Bringing them together allows us to reflect on Jewish teachings in contrasting ways.

The works in this exhibition share an interest in the Jewish mystical tradition of the Kabbalah, in Jewish texts and the Hebrew alphabet. Beyond this both artists are intrigued by the threads and links between these Jewish teachings, cosmology and cutting edge quantum physics.

Join us here at Kent House between 6:00-9:00pm for a glass of wine and a chance to meet both artists as they talk about their works and share some insight into their process.

Also, don't miss out on your chance to bid in our Silent Auction which closes on Monday, 17th October. Find out more information here.

Please note that this evening is only for WS Members and invited guests. If you wish to attend but are not a Synagogue member, please contact curator Orit Schreiber.

Sorry, Registration has ended.
