Learning for times of Uncertainty and Challenge

Monday, 25 May, 2020 2 Sivan 5780

6:30 PM - 8:00 PMZoom 2

We are excited to welcome Rabbi Leah Jordan, who will be leading the session on Monday, 25th May!

During the Omer: the 50 days from Pesach to Shavuot, called the Omer, are understood in the Jewish mystical tradition (the Kabbalah) to be a time for healing ourselves. Come join us as we look at some texts about this spiritual Omer healing and reflect on how that might intersect with our times and needs now.

Leah Jordan is the incoming rabbi of Kehillah North London and a founding member of Na'amod. She served for a number of years as Progressive Jewish Chaplain for University Students & Young Adults in the UK, and as the congregational rabbi of the Norwich Liberal Jewish Community. She spent a few years in Jerusalem, studying Torah and on-the-ground organising. Leah hails from “deepest, darkest” midwestern America, and lives in Kentish Town.
