Streetwise: Antisemitism and Personal Safety for teens

10:30 AM - 12:30 PMLibrary

At Streetwise – a partnership project between Maccabi GB and CST - they strive to equip the young people in our community with the knowledge and confidence to keep themselves safe and better protected.

We know from previous conflicts in Israel, that spikes in antisemitic hate crime incidents take place here at home and often affect young people and school settings. Streetwise aims to educate and give young people the correct tools and skills to be safer and know what to do if they come across antisemitism of any kind, both on and offline.

Join us for a session for those aged 11-17 on Sunday, 30th June as we welcome a trained Streetwise facilitator who'll run a session on Anitsemitism and Personal Safety. The session uses a variety of resources and the issue of antisemitism is framed in a broader conversation about racism and discrimination, as well as British Values.

The session will be from 11-12pm, with the building open from 10:30am so we can ensure we start on time. Bookings close on Friday 28th June, at 12:00 noon. If you have any questions, please get in touch with Daniela.

Sorry, Registration has ended.
