Purim: Magic & Mystery

Join us as we explore the mystical side of Purim idea of Esther yerakroket – Esther as green – and the ways in which she transforms through the Purim story. We will of course look at Elphaba Thropp, the witch from Wicked. We will be reading the Tiferet Uziel, an 18th century Chassidic rabbi from Poland, who writes about the connection of this idea to the mitzvot (commandments), as well as the Zohar. This Oneg will get you into the Purim spirit of silliness, playfulness, mystery, and possibility.
